OES Childcare staff members are carefully chosen to reflect our commitment to providing a safe, positive and caring environment for the children we teach. All have undergone criminal records checks, as well as keep up-to-date first aid training. Each Preschool class has ECE qualified teachers.
Manager / ECE Teacher
Miss Lisa has been working in the ECE field since 2009, when she began her Early Childhood Education at the University of the Fraser Valley. Miss Lisa has worked in a wide range of childcare programs; Strong Start, Infant Toddler, Family Daycare, 3-5 Daycare, and School Age After School Daycare. Before she received her ECE, Miss Lisa even Nannied in the Lower Mainland. You name it, she's done it. Lisa loves her career and her passion for children comes out in her creative program planning, her interactions with the children and her positive, warm energy.
ECE Assistant Teacher
Miss Bethany has been working with children since 2017. Bethany has her Early Childhood Education Assistant Certification and is currently continuing her education online to be a Early Childhood Educator. Bethany Nannied before deciding to begin her Early Childhood Education, has worked with School Age Care, 3-5 Daycare and in Preschool. She loves working with children and is excited to continue building her career.
Miss Diane has been in the childcare field for over 20 years, starting as a special needs support worker and moving on to Manage Afterschool Programs in both OES and Tuc-el-nuit Elementary schools. Miss Diane received her ECE from Northern Lights College, and her Special Needs from Okanagan University Collage. She was the Administrator for all our programs and has recently taken the plunge and purchased the company. She now is the proud owner of South Okanagan Quality childcare - OES Childcare / Preschool as well as Little Wonders Childcare and the School Age Afterschool Program.
